Sameer-Tajudden Shaik-Abdul, MD, attended Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in India. He received his medical degree in 2006 and the relocated to the United States. He served his internship and internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, MI. In addition, Dr. Shaik-Abdul received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He remains up to date in his specialty via memberships with professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. In 2016, he received a Top Physician of the Quarter Award. He dedicates his spare time to his family, playing cricket, traveling, and interior design.
